How we use cookies and similar technologies — and the choices you have.

This policy is provided under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR. It is a working draft pending review.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Some are strictly necessary to make a site work; others are optional and require your consent before they are set.

2. How we use them today

We keep this to a minimum. The marketing website currently uses only strictly necessary storage needed to serve and secure the pages. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The signed-in platform uses essential browser storage to keep you logged in (a session token), which is required for the service to function.

3. Categories

Strictly necessary — security and session. Always on; no consent required because the service cannot work without them.
Analytics (optional) — not currently used. If we introduce privacy-respecting analytics, they will be off until you opt in.
Marketing / advertising — not used, and we have no plans to use them.

4. Your choices

Because we currently set only strictly-necessary storage, there is nothing optional to decline today. Our cookie-preference banner records your choice so that, the moment any non-essential cookie is ever introduced, it stays off unless you accept it — and you can change your mind at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
